Friendly service and great prices. Excellent house-made bbq. Their hot slaw is not to be tasted, rather experienced.

Stopped here after rafting down the Hiwasse. We were hungry and had smelled campfire as we floated, so we decided a good bbq lunch/supper was in order. The place was busy, and staff was very attentive and explained that we would have a wait. No problem! The attention the staff gave us made it easy to wait. We ordered the 2 meat and w side plate, the pulled pork plate, and the kids got hot dogs and sides. We also ordered cheese curds and cheese sticks. So! Much! Food! And good prices for the portions. Delicious too!!!

I'm from out of town. Food was EXCELLENT! Literally everything was great! Everything was homemade (maybe not the ranch)..but the tea, fried green tomatoes, pulled pork, baked chicken...all excellent! The hush puppies were absolutely delicious. And the tarter sauce! This is somewhere I'd without a doubt come back to. The service was super friendly. Everyone helped eachother...cook, waitress, cleaners...everyone did everything. It was a great atmosphere. Even the regulars in the restaurant were very friendly. Definitely go!!!

What a treat!!! If you are looking for a top notch spot in Cleveland for BBQ, this is it. It's a short drive down the high but worth every mile. The atmosphere here is friendly like you're family. The food came quickly after ordering. The BBQ sandwich came wet, blended with sauce already rather than dry and open faced. You only need to add more if you like you sandwich dripping. The catfish was flakey, moist, and full of flavor. The okra and onion rings were fantastic. A warning: the hot slaw is HOT! I thought I was a man until the carolina reaper hot slaw burned every hair out of my nose. Out of the handful of BBQ joints in the area, this one has my highest stamp of approval.

They are now open on Sunday’s! Been wanting to try it for a very long time, so thank you for giving all us other folks a little extra love. Home made sauces, in house authentic BBQ, and a lot of southern hospitality. Bev is the owner and you can tell she takes pride in what she does. Thanks for a great Sunday lunch. Will def. be back!!

Great food and wonderful service! BBQ was delicious, I preferred the mustard sauce, but both were great. Corn bread was simple and delightful. Beans weren't spicy or covered in bacon. Banana Pudding always a great way to finish the meal. It was so filling and good I wanted to take a nap afterwards. Plus, to top it off, the staff is very happy and quick.

This was the best restaurant I've been to in years. Me and my family were visiting tenessee when we stopped here. The lady who served us was lovely, kind and attentive. She made sure we had everything just right. The food was perfect. Large quantities, good pricing and food cooked just like it should be. Lots of flavor, tender meat and plents of choice so everyone can get what they like. Definitely worth a detour if your passing by.

ABSOLUTELY worth the extra miles to get here! Mom and Pop BBQ joint. Fantastic hospitality and great pulled pork. They have a home made mustard sauce that some of the best I've ever had.
